ARCHERY ANTELOPE HUNT

This hunt is located near Tucumcari, NM.  This is a trespass fee hunt. The owner will assist with explanation of boundaries and how to hunt the ranch.  The ranch consists of 18,600 +/- acres.  The cost of this trespass hunt is $800. The hunter is responsible for lodging, meals, transport, and license. Call or email for more information.  (Booked 2008)

RIFLE ANTELOPE - SE NM
This hunt takes place on 22,000 private acres at Vaughn, NM.  Hunters have the comfort of a motel and New Mexico restaurant meals. The ranch is 1.5 hours south east of Albuquerque. Fly into Albuquerque on a Friday evening and be back at the office first thing Monday morning. The cost of the hunt is $2,250 ea. This ranch is 100% deeded with a 4 hunter maximum. We had 100% success on this unit in 2007. See photos page for a couple of the bucks harvested. Ask about this ranch now for 2009! (BOOKED 2008)
We added the 10,000 acre Davis Ranch to this hunt as it is next door. Same deal for 3 hunters. We now have 32,000 acres at Vaughn. This hunt is booked for 2008 as well. Ask about this ranch in 2009!
  RIFLE ANTELOPE - NE NM
JFW Ranch Consulting has 2 spots on a fully guided 2-day hunt  in late August at Roy, NM. (meals, lodging, trophy & care) This hunt produced an 84" buck in 2007, an 82" in 2004, an 80" in 2003, and and 83 in 2002.  A DVD of the 2003 hunt is available upon request.  Lodging and meals are at the famous Brown motel/restaurant in Springer.  This hunt costs $2,500 ea.  This hunt is private land with a 2 hunter maximum. SANTA ROSA RIFLE ANTELOPE HUNT
See Janie's buck above. One got away in 2007 that was B&C. We anticipate a shot at him this year.

JFWRC secured antelope hunting rights on the 18,000 acre Juan De Dios Ranch just south of Santa Rosa just before the hunting season 2006. We weren’t sure what to expect but we had excellent success on this unit in 2006 even with the late notice. 2007 was even better! Janie harvested a 82.5 buck and a 82+ we missed lives on for the 2008 hunt. See photos posted on the 2007 photo pages. The maximum number of hunters on this unit is 5 (4 private), 1 public hunter by lottery draw. The cost for this fully outfitted private hunt is $2,500.   We stay at the La Quinta in Santa Rosa and eat at community restuarants (Included). 
This hunt is guided 2x1 and is a great fun!   

 

RIFLE ANTELOPE HUNT-SE NM

JFW Ranch Consulting a spot for 1 “guided” hunter at Quay, NM. This ranch is 13,000 deeded acres. This hunt produced  82"  and 80” bucks in 2003, and an 84.5" net  in 2005. Lodging and meals are the responsibility of the hunter and both are found at Tucumcari, NM, 18 miles north of these 13,000 deeded acres. This hunt costs $1,850.   This hunt is on 100% deeded land. See photo pages for the bucks harvested on this ranch. Only 1 hunt will be offered on this ranch in 2008! SOLD!!
 
ARCHERY ANTELOPE HUNT
- SANTA ROSA, NM

This guided hunt takes place on 52,000 acres of prime antelope habitat south of Santa Rosa and north of Ft. Sumner, NM.  Hunting by spot and stalk or blinds near water holes.  2002 success was 66% with 3 hunters on the ranch and 100% opportunity.  This ranch is managed for "bow hunting", with minimal rifle harvest allowed.  Meals and lodging are included, with a cost of $2,250 + NM License.  Hunters must draw a public permit for this hunt.  2003 Success was 83% for the six hunters allowed on the ranch.  2004 Success dropped to 1 out of 6 due to the monsoon rains.  2005 success was 4 out of 6. Success in 2006 was 100%. To my knowledge, no one bowhunted it in 2007. SOLD!

 

 MOBILITY IMPAIRED TROPHY ANTELOPE
This is a JFW Ranch Consulting fully outfitted trophy antelope hunt on one of New Mexico's premier antelope ranch properties.  Hunters must obtain their license through the public draw.  Clients will have the opportunity to harvest Boone and Crockett caliber antelope.  The price for this hunt is $1,800-$2,500 depending on the cost to access the property. Ask about 2009!

 ARCHERY ANTELOPE TRESPASS HUNT - RATON, NM

Trespass Fee Bow Hunt for Trophy Antelope-This hunt takes place on the V7 Ranch.  The ranch is located near Raton, NM and consists of 24,000 acres.  The ranch produces high end Pope and Young antelope with potential of Boone and Crockett minimum.  Hunters are paying for the right to access this unit with a public draw permit.  The cost of this hunt is $800.  Lodging, meals, transportation, trophy care, meat care and state licenses are the responsibility of the hunter.  Prior draw success was 100% in 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.  * A $1,000 trophy fee applies to the harvest of a green B&C Antelope Buck. 100% shooting in 2006.  CAPROCK RANCH - ANTELOPE

This ranch is located south of Tucumcari on top of the Caprock west of Forest, NM. This 4500 deeded acre unit has lots of antelope. See photo page for bucks harvested in 2007. This ranch is hunted every other year.   Guided hunts on this ranch are $2,500 each. Available 2009!

Wess Wells of Claunch, NM has 4 openings in 07 for trophy antelope. This unit has strong B&C potential. The ranch is 10,000 acres. There are no public hunters on this unit and it is signed up “Ranch Only.” The hunt is fully outfitted, he said he’d even provide the rifle if needed. This hunt is limited to 4 total hunters.    TROPHY MULE DEER & ELK RIFLE HUNTS
This ranch is located in the heart of Rio Arriba County and adjoins the famous Jicarilla Apache Indian Reservation. The ranch consists of 5,400 acres of prime trophy mule deer habitat and elk range. The owner and hunting manager is Harley Lesson. This ranch offers a bow hunter a chance at a 180+ velvet mule deer buck in September at $800 for 5 days + $500 kill fee. Harley offers a bow combo deer/elk in September at $2,000 + $500 each kill fee. He offers private land centerfire bull elk hunting beginning in October at $2,000 + $500 kill fee. Hunters can hunt trophy deer in November with a rifle for $3,000. These prices include lodging. You hunt on your own within the Leeson Ranch boundary. Deer hunting is on a draw basis. Elk landowner authorizations are included. State license fees are the responsibility of the hunter. The number of hunters is limited for trophy management on this ranch. The V7 Ranch located at Raton, New Mexico is a wildlife mecca.  Jason Van Sweden manages the 34,000 deeded acres of prime hunting land.  9,000 of these acres adjoin the NRA Whittington Center and Vermejo Park.  This unit is home to trophy bull elk, Merriam turkey, bear, mountain lion, mule and whitetail deer.  The remaining 25,000 acres is home to big buck antelope.  All hunts with exception of the trophy archery antelope hunts are fully outfitted.  Elk hunts are priced in relation to hunt period which begins the end of September.  The early trophy bull hunt is priced at $7,500 with the second October trophy bull hunt at $7,000.  The trophy antelope hunts are priced at $3,500.  Antelope hunts book quickly.  If you want an opportunity at a B&C class buck, book early.   Deer hunts are $4,500 and the opportunity exists for 180+ mule deer and 140+ whitetail deer.   Merriam turkey hunts are $1,200 with a two bird limit, 5 days with lodging.  All hunts are high success, high opportunity.
